With its architectural beauty and long history, the Harvard Club of NYC was one of the first buildings to be named a New York City Landmark. It is also listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Members and alumni have good reason to be justifiably proud of this remarkable building.
DRESS CODE & CELL PHONE USE AT HARVARD CLUB
The Dress Code within the Clubhouse is business casual (jeans, sneakers or athletic wear are NOT permitted). BUSINESS CASUAL includes no jeans and collared shirts for men (jackets and ties are not required) and the equivalent standard for women
Cell phones within the Clubhouse must be set to silent or vibrate mode. Cell phones not set to “silent” or “vibrate” may not be used for any purpose in any area of the Club. The Club’s House Rules provide that discreet use of cell phones for making and receiving calls is permitted in the following locations:
(i) the lobby and elevator lobby of 35 W. 44th Street,
(ii) the telephone room and coat room of 27 W. 44th Street,
(iii) the Charles River Room,
(iv) the elevator lobbies of 35 W. 44th Street, and
(v) within the Club’s private meeting rooms.
